It features Anderson’s Even-Taper neck profile, Flame Maple Top on Swamp Ash Body, Maple Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard.
The Chrome hardware includes Anderson’s Vintage Tremolo with Locking Tuners.
Electronics are the classic combination of an SC1 in each the neck and middle positions, and H2+ bridge humbucker.
Before the introduction of the magnificent Drop Top in 1990, the number of “S” style guitars that had a maple top that was “dropped” to create a comfortable forearm contour were exactly zero. As a result of this design, Anderson has chosen a body top thickness of 3/16 of an inch, which actually enhances and enriches the sonic character of the instrument.
