*The saddles on Nova bridges must be cut to your required width to match the string gauge and nut slots. This is a crucial step in creating a flawlessly performing bridge and is the standard practice among high-end bridge manufacturers. Nova provides an initial cut as a guideline for the file. We generally recommend leaving the saddle slots on the D, G, B, and high E strings as is, unless you have a specific string gauge that won’t fit.
