The Standard is a visually stunning guitar that delivers spectacular sound. This Hamer design is the second body shape ever made by Hamer in 1974 and, in essence, is similar to the Hamer USA Standard – an upscale flametop guitar, discontinued in ’85, revived in ’95 and incorporated into Import Series in 1997. Updated with a solid maple cap & figured maple veneer on a mahogany body, this guitar screams while also providing good treble clarity. An iconic Hamer design, the STD-CS is tastefully treated with a gorgeous Cherry Sunburst flame maple top with crown inlays.
