The Falken brings you an entirely new and daring body shape from Duesenberg. The new Split/King pickups open up a whole new world of versatility, with construction designed to withstand the tough challenges of a life on the road.
This Solid-Body construction delivers instant response, a lot of sustain and perfect feedback resistance. The Falken features a carefully shaped alder body combined with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard.
The two Split/King pickups are capable of producing real singlecoil and real humbucker tones out of the same pickup. You can select modes with the switches on the lower brushed aluminum pickguard. The pickup mode switches located on the lower pickguard can be raised or lowered inside the pickguard with a small elevator mechanism. The innovative coil concept of extending a real singlecoil to a full humbucker with a fine-tuned separate coil enables you to access both pickup sounds with the flick of a switch. The Split/King actually houses a real, full-size singlecoil pickup that can stand on its own compared to your regular split humbucker.
The Plek processed fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for Duesenberg’s fret polishing and setup work that eventually makes all our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
The Falken comes with either the elegant Wrapper Stop-Tailpiece or the acclaimed Radiator Tremola Bridge.
Anodized brushed aluminum pickguards, reversed headstock, “Wing” fretboard inlays and the dual Split/King pickups come standard on the Falken.
The new Duesenberg Radiator Tremola is the evolution of Duesenberg’s own Vibrato System Design.It keeps everything that you love about about their original Diamond Deluxe Vibrato and delivers it in a new and exciting design. Buttery smooth action, reliable tuning stability and string changes that are a breeze are just the main aspects of Duesenberg’s unique vibrato design. Heavy duty needle and nylon bearings give you the highly responsive Duesenberg feel when using the vibrato arm. The arm itself can be turned freely for 360° and can be adjusted to your preferred angle and length. The strings are simply guided through the holes in the bar underneath the arm-axis and can be lead to the tuners without any hassle.
When compared to regular chrome finishes, nickel has a beautiful warm and elegant sheen and ages naturally over time. It’s the way things were done before chrome became the standard. If you don’t want the hardware on your instrument to age, Duesenberg recommends regular cleaning.
