For decades, serious flatpickers have known that the simple modification of enlarging a soundhole offers proven benefits. Though originally introduced as a cosmetic hack, Bourgeois treats the large soundhole with the same respect they reserve for vintage design while retaining, in tribute, a variety of minor details unique to an iconic guitar that inspired a generation of players and luthiers.

This particular run of Limited Edition Large Soundhole Dreadnoughts features Sinker Mahogany back and sides instead of the standard Honduran Mahogany, adding definition and clarity to the top end while retaining the round low-end of the Dreadnought body, offering a more balanced voice without sacrificing articulation.
