Presenting the Fender Custom Shop 1961 Stratocaster Heavy Relic, this one in Sherwood Green Metallic with matching Painted Neck.
The Alder 2 Piece 60 Strat Body is done with a Thin Nitro Finish.
The Maple Neck features their classic 60s Style Oval “C” neck shape, capped with a Rosewood Fingerboard with modern 9.5″ Radius, and 6105 Frets. The Neck is custom done with a matching finish on the back of the neck and headstock, with natural finish on the front of the headstock for a unique look.
Hardware includes a American Vintage Stratocaster Tremolo and vintage tuning machines, and a G/B/G Relic pickguard.
Electronics include a modern 5-Way Blade Switch, Master Volume, and 2 Tone Controls. The pickups are all Handwound Strat Relic versions, with a ’69 in the Neck, 60/63 in the Middle, and ’59 in the Bridge. The middle pickup is Reverse-Wound, Reverse-Polarity (RWRP for short) so that you get hum cancelling in the #2 and #4 positions.
Accessories include a Deluxe Custom Shop Hardshell Case, Strap, and Certificate of Authenticity.
